Watch for strolling carolers, carriage rides, and specials in the neighborhood's many shops and restaurants. Just down the road Longwood Gardens is bright and shiny for the holidays during A Longwood Christmas, featuring music floral and light displays, and instruments decorating the centerpiece 18-foot fir tree. Buy a special Christmas in Kennett admission ticket to the gardens and enjoy the free shuttle between town and Longwood running Saturdays through November 17.

Christmas marches into town via Bridge Street when the borough hosts its annual Christmas Parade on December 2, followed immediately by the lighting of the downtown tree.
