Celebrating 40 years of Yuletide, Winterthur will display the very best décor across the decades as chosen by Winterthur visitors. Holidays at Hagley runs from November 23, 2019 through January 1, 2020: the 1803 du Pont ancestral home, Eleutherian Mills, will feature family decorations. “Christmas Trees: Past and Present,” an exhibition celebrating the history of Christmas trees in America, will also be on view. From an 1840’s Victorian tabletop tree through electric lights and finally some modern reinterpretations of decorated trees; don’t miss this unique journey through the evolution of the beloved holiday tree.
