The Annual French Creek Iron Tour, Cycling for Open Space, takes place on Sunday June 11, 2017. Riders in this event have a direct impact on preserving the magnificent countryside surrounding them. Join more than 1400 riders at the French Creek Iron Tour; there are courses ranging from 11 to 100 miles welcoming riders of all levels and ages.
Hundreds of cyclists race through the challenging downtown West Chester circuit at speeds in excess of 35 mph at the Benchmark Twilight Cycling Classic, August 12, 2017. Brandywine Bike Ride, September 30, 2017: The ride consists of three routes with distances of 25, 50 or 100 miles that highlights the region’s recreational attractions, natural and cultural features, and open space.
The Marshalton Triathlon, spanning four decades, is thought to be the nation’s longest continually running triathlon. The race begins and ends in the charming village of Marshalton on Sunday October 1, 2017 and extends over ten miles of Chester County’s glorious countryside.
