Spring is in full swing in the Brandywine Valley this late April weekend. The gardens are in bloom, and the arts are out on full display. From Friday, April 24th, to Sunday, April 26th, there is so much to see and do in Chester County's Brandywine Valley.

WCFF 2026

Begin your artful escape in the heart of downtown West Chester at the West Chester Film Festival - starting at 5:30 at Uptown: Knauer Performing Arts Center, enjoy indie short films from up and coming filmmakers from around the area. After, dine at one of many West Chester restaurants before turning in for the night at one of our Inns and Unique Stays

 

Saturday April 25:

Yellow Springs Art Show

This morning, take a stroll through the Historic Yellow Springs Art show, showcasing local artists in one of the Brandywine Valley’s hidden gems. Enjoy art from hundreds of local artists while taking in all this historic village has to offer.

Spend the afternoon in Longwood Gardens, in the midst of Spring Blooms, and the garden’s reimagined spaces. Before you go, enjoy a cocktail at the all new 1906 restaurantand take in the spectacular views of the gardens, right from the bar and lounge. Still craving more blooms? In the afternoon, return to West Chester for night two of the film festival, featuring a short film centered around N.C. Wyeth's painting, After the films, there will be a filmmaker award ceremony as well as a meet & greet with the filmmakers. Had your fill of film? Enjoy dinner at one of West Chester's many restaurants.  

Sunday April 26:

Brandywine Museum of ArtLet’s take it easy this Sunday morning, enjoy a slow breakfast at one of Chester County’s quaint cafés. Later on, head to the Brandywine Museum of Art for a truly immersive art experience. Along with stellar exhibits from the Wyeth family of artists, attend guided studio tours that give a unique and intimate look at how they lived and worked within these spaces. These are truly unforgettable experiences for art enthusiasts and artists alike.
