The American Helicopter Museum is the only aviation museum of its kind in the U.S., displaying over 35 civilian and military helicopters. Visitors can learn about the history of rotary wing aircraft (the roots of which are in this region) and climb aboard several fine aircraft including the V-22 Osprey (the only one on display in the world!) Virtual helicopter rides are available with the museum's new Bell Cobra cockpit simulator.
