Abraham Fetters-White School Preservation Society

Restoring and preserving the 1863 one-room schoolhouse located at Route 100 and Worthington Road, Exton. Upon completion, the historic school will be available to the public for meetings and special events. Brochure available.

Adventure Aquarium

Adventure Aquarium is just minutes from downtown Philadelphia on the Camden Waterfront and features one-of-a-kind exhibits with more than 8,500 aquatic species throughout two million gallons of water. The Aquarium is home to the largest collection of sharks on the East Coast, including the only great hammerhead shark on exhibit in the United States.

Anson B. Nixon Park

This 106 acre hidden gem is nestled just north of charming downtown Kennett Square. This natural setting includes 2 ponds, streams, woodlands including a beech grove with specimens dating back over 250 years, and 3 miles of walking trails. Recreational activities include tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, soccer and lacrosse fields, a performance pavilion, as well as picnic pavilions.

Antique Ice Tool Museum

Located in a Historic 1834 Chester County Barn, the Anitque Ice Tool Museum is the worlds largest collection of tools, equipment and vehicles used in the "Natural Ice Trade".  Step back in time from the 1800’s to the 1940’s and view a part of history that changed the American way of life.

Black Rock Sanctuary

The Sanctuary consists of 119 acres of wetlands, woodlands and meadows and is dedicated to wildlife habitat and public use. Discover the history, geology, wildlife, plant life and habitats of the basin by walking along the interpretive trail and visiting one of the many education stations along the way.  The sky over Black Rock is a flyway, or air highway, for birds that migrate up and down the East Coast. Our wetlands attract waterfowl and provide for other plants and animals.

Boulder Falls Mini Golf

Brandywine Polo Fields & Club

Brandywine Polo Fields have four tournament sized polo fields, each with ample parking for spectator viewing.  Our fields can be further divided for soccer with up to 8 fields, or lacrosse with up to 10 fields.  Location can hold up to as many as 4,000 people.

Brandywine River Museum of Art

Discover an outstanding collection of American art housed in a 19th century mill with a dramatic steel and glass addition overlooking the banks of the Brandywine River.  Renowned for its holdings of the Wyeth family of artists, the museum features galleries dedicated to the work of N.C., Andrew and Jamie Wyeth.

Brandywine Valley Tourism Information Center

Originally the Longwood Progressive Quaker Meeting House and was involved in the Underground Railroad; Our Information Center offers information on the entire Brandywine Valley attractions, restaurants, accommodations and special events. Located at 300 Greenwood Road in Kennett Square, PA, near Longwood Gardens. We look forward to being of service to you and your family!

Broad Run Golfer’s Club

The 18-hole "Broad Run" course features 6,826 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72; the course rating is 73.0 and it has a slope rating of 132.  Designed by Phil Larsen/Rees Jones, ASGCA, the Broad Run golf course opened in 2000. Jeff Broadbelt manages the course as the General Manager.

Chadds Ford Historical Society

Guided tours, bread baking and cooking demonstrations at John Chads House and Barns-Brinton House, a rare colonial tavern; Exhibits in the Barn Visitors Center and special events throughout the year; Chadds Ford Days in September, The Great Pumpkin Carve in October and Candlelight Christmas in December.

Chanticleer Garden

Chanticleer is a 35 acre garden featuring lush courtyards of tropicals, perennials, containers, cut flower and vegetable garden; water gardens, ponds, exotic woodlands and spectacular ruin garden.

Charlestown Township

A quiet country cemetery, originally belonging to the Charlestown Presbyterian Church, was changed forever by the Revolutionary War; Victims of the harsh winter conditions of the Valley Forge encampment, more than 200 soldiers of the Revolutionary War lie here in unmarked graves.
