Charlestown Township

A quiet country cemetery, originally belonging to the Charlestown Presbyterian Church, was changed forever by the Revolutionary War; Victims of the harsh winter conditions of the Valley Forge encampment, more than 200 soldiers of the Revolutionary War lie here in unmarked graves.

Chester Valley Trail

The Chester Valley Trail is a multi-use, rail-to-trail facility that roughly follows U.S. Routes 30 and 202 through central Chester County from West Whiteland Township east into Montgomery County. The location is home to one of the largest concentrations of employment and population in the Philadelphia region outside of Center City, and the trail provides a key connection of “The Circuit”, the planned 750-mile trail network throughout Greater Philadelphia.   

Choo Choo Barn

All aboard for a unique and memorable experience for all ages.  It is Lancaster County in miniature, featuring 150 moving figures and scenes and 22 operating trains.  Our hand-created model train layout has impressed families for over 50 years with realistic detail that will leave you asking, “How did they do that?”

Delaware Art Museum

World-renowned collection of American art and illustration, 19th century to present, includes Pre-Raphaelite movement of mid-19th century.

Delaware Museum of Natural History

Explore an African watering hole,a giant squid, Chinese dinosaurs, the hands on discovery room, a walk-over barrier reef and other creatures from around the world. Special exhibits and events year-round.

Diplomacy Ping Pong

Ping Pong for Everyone! All level players welcome. No membership required.  Paddles, balls & pickup provided.Connections with Other Players or Private Group Events/Parties! Meet other players socially, form a league. Arrange a private event: clubs, sports teams, birthdays, company team-building. Six Killerspin Revolution tables: five for competitive play and one set up for Robo-Pong.

Ephrata Cloister

Ephrata Cloister is a National Historic Landmark and one of America’s earliest religious communities.  Founded in 1732 by a German immigrant this community left us a unique legacy in their architecture, music, calligraphy and printing. Historic Ephrata Cloister epitomizes Pennsylvania’s rich history of religious and intellectual freedom.  Tours offered year round.

French and Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust

We are a community-based organization that preserves and protects endangered land and natural resources in northern Chester County. The Trust works collaboratively with individual landowners, local, county and state government, and other conservation organizations to ensure the preservation of the French and Pickering Creeks watersheds, which contain some of the most scenic lands in Pennsylvania

French Creek State Park

More than 35 miles of well-marked trails cover a large portion of the park’s 7,475 acres.  Hikers at French Creek have a wide variety of opportunities for quiet reflection, nature study and physical challenge.

Hibernia County Park Camping

Camping at Hibernia County Park begins the first full weekend in May and continues through the last weekend in October, weather permitting.

Hibernia Mansion

Hibernia Mansion, home of 19th century Ironmasters, graces Hibernia’s hillside. It is open for public tours on Sunday afternoons, Memorial Day to Labor Day. In December, the Mansion offers Candlelight Tours.
