On Friday, July 10, head to Longwood Gardens’ Fountain Fest - gather the family and friends for an evening of quality time in a glorious garden. In the heart of the garden there is a delightful Beer Garden where guests can enjoy refreshments, local fare and live music when visiting. Longwood celebrates the “Botany of Beer” by partnering with Victory Brewery Company, creating custom brews with ingredients from Longwood Gardens. A citrus shanty is planned for summer 2026. You can also enjoy the Philly First Ale, another Victory beer brewed in collaboration with VisitPhilly, celebrating this historic year. Feeling more elegant? Make your reservation at 1906, Longwood's premier fine dining restaurant, with flavors worth traveling for.
Top off the perfect outdoor evening with the Illuminated Fountain Performance, Take Me Out to the Ballgame, a celebration of all thing's baseball, America's pastime - the show begins at 9:15p.m. at the Main Fountain Garden.

Saturday, July 11 – Did you know? The iconic horror film The Blob, released in 1958, starring Steve McQueen was filmed right here in Chester County, and featured the iconic Colonial Theatre in downtown Phoenixville! To celebrate the town's cinematic heritage, the Colonial puts on their annual Blobfest. Spend the day in historic Phoenixville: from a unique street fair with a host of vendors and live music to screenings of the eponymous Blob – the Blobfest delights visitors of all ages.

Stroll the many unique shops…most notably The Diving Cat Studio Gallery. Dine, indoors or out, at one of the many restaurants, cafes or pubs. Brewers are plentiful in Phoenixville, and regional favorite distillery Bluebird Distilling features award-winning spirits – Cheers!
Sunday July 12 – today explore additional towns and villages to shop and enjoy brunch, then take a scenic railroad ride through the gorgeous countryside on West Chester Railroad's Summer Picnic Special. Local spots for gathering picnic essentials: Talula's Table in Kennett Square and Carlino's Market in West Chester. Plenty of take out options are available as well at many restaurants and cafes.
Make it an extra long weekend for the MLB All-Star Week in Philadelphia! Take the short drive down to Citizens Bank Park, or take the even shorter drive to one of Chester County's pubs and taverns and take part in the fan-fare of the Homerun Derby on Monday July 13, and the All-Star Game on Tuesday July 14.
