Start Your Trip at the Tourism Information Center.
Make the Brandywine Valley Tourism Information Center your first stop when visiting the region. Built in 1855, this former Quaker Meetinghouse is on the Registry of Historic Places. Located at the gates of Longwood Gardens, the Brandywine Valley Tourism Information Center occupies the front of this historic building and houses a storyboard of the building’s history. Brochures, menus, maps and personal service are provided by friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Getting to Chester County, PA
Nestled in southeastern Pennsylvania, minutes from Philadelphia International Airport and just a short drive from New York, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C., Chester County’s Brandywine Valley is probably just around the corner.
SEPTA
The region’s commuter rail line, SEPTA, offers service to destinations in the Brandywine Valley, including West Chester, Paoli, and Exton, from downtown Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station. Visit SEPTA online for full routes and schedules.
AMTRAK
The county’s Paoli and Coatesville stations are popular stops on the Keystone line, easily connecting at Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station with the Acela and Northeast Corridor lines. Area hotels offer shuttle service between the stations and their properties, in addition to taxis and ride share programs.
PHL
Visitors flying into PHL can reach their hotels in Chester County by renting a car or taking a cab or service like UBER. The ride should take about 45 minutes depending on your destination. A SEPTA route connecting the airport with 30th Street Station is also available. Philadelphia International Airport offers COVID-19 testing.
