Beginning at 5pm, check in, grab a life jacket and store your BYOB bag with the staff to keep cold while you’re out on the water. Enjoy a scenic, tree-tunneled ride to the launch site, where the adventure begins.
After some waterway wisdom and safety tips from founder and owner of 50+ years Zeke, hop aboard your canoe for two for a float down the lush Brandywine River. Daydreamers and instagrammers beware of the fairytale setting- steering is required! Wave to turtles, ducks, birds and other riverbank residents- if you’re lucky, you might spot an otter! Enjoy 1.5 hours of Brandywine bliss before the distant sound of live music welcomes you back to the campsite.
Change into fresh clothes as needed and check back in at the food shack for your dinner cards and seating arrangements: a charming candlelit table marked just for your party. Enjoy a first course of salad and a dinner roll before the main course, your pre-selected option of Grilled Salmon, BBQ Ribs or Chicken and tofu. Accompaniments include: corn on the cob, sauteed veggies and baby potatoes.
After dinner, get started on your s’mores kit for the perfect DIY campfire dessert. Unwind by the fire and sway to tranquil tunes from the live performer, song requests encouraged!
