Stunning ChesLen Preserve partners with East Branch Brewing Company for Pints on the Preserve in the Lenfest Center Pavilion. Enjoy refreshing brews with breath-taking views on June 8 and July 20, 2024. Bring a blanket and picnic to pair with delightful brews; grab a brew and hike along the sprawling 14 miles of trails; or just relax with friends on the back deck or covered pavilion at the Lenfest Center.

Local favorite Levante Brewing operates a Taproom adjacent to the brewery in West Chester. A rotating schedule of local food trucks, live music and events are always on tap.  On summer weekends Levante pours outdoors at Highland Orchards. Picnic tables adorned with umbrellas line the orchard grounds to let families beat the heat. Concessions are available from local vendors and can also be purchased at the Highland Orchards country store where customers can buy fresh produce and baked goods.  A full slate of seasonal “pick your own” produce is a fun, fresh, and delicious experience!

Historic Sugartown, a preserved 19th century crossroads village,  hosts three Pop Up Summer Biergartens – June 20 and August 15, 2024. With brews by Locust Lane Craft Brewery and wines by Chaddsford Winery there is something for every taste. Food trucks will be cooking up delicious fare and music will fill the air – all in a historic setting sure to delight.

Historic Sugartown’s Pop Up Summer Biergarten

The charming town of Kennett Square is famously known as the Mushroom Capital as the region produces over 60% of the nation’s mushroom crop. The town hosts an annual Mushroom Festival the weekend after Labor Day. Additional Kennett hosts seasonal festivals celebrating local libations.

Summerfest is a street festival featuring refreshing Chester County wines. Enjoy local cheeses, regional vendors, and live music as well. Summerfest takes place on Sunday, June 9, 2024.

Nearby Longwood Gardens is a horticultural wonderland of over 1000 acres. It features 20 outdoor gardens and a breathtaking conservatory plus the most significant fountain collection in north America. In the heart of the garden there is a delightful Beer Garden where guests can enjoy refreshments, local fare and live music when visiting. Longwood celebrates the “Botany of Beer” by partnering with Victory Brewery Company, creating custom brews with ingredients from Longwood Gardens. A citrus shanty is planned for summer 2024.  Top off the perfect outdoor evening with the Illuminated Fountain Performance at the Main Fountain Garden Thursday through Saturday evenings seasonally.

Beer Garden at Longwood Gardens

Nemours Estate is a 77- room mansion surrounded by formal gardens. It is furnished with fine antiques, famous works of art, beautiful tapestries, and other treasures. The grounds surrounding the mansion extend for one third of a mile along the main vista from the house and are among the finest examples of French-style gardens in the United States. Nemours’ Summer Third Thursdays offer live music in the spectacular gardens with beer, wine, and food trucks.
